Daily Vocabulary for GATE 2018 #03

Now we are starting preparing our vocabulary for ECE GATE 2018. we all know that vocabulary play a very important role in every examination so I recommend you to just add few words daily in your vocabulary. here your vocabulary refers to the word you use or you know so adding more words into it will really help you in building vocabulary .

        

 Now the question arises how to prepare vocabulary? It's quiet simple you just need to learn few words memorise it's meaning then have a look in it's synonym and antonyms and use those words in day to day life then it will definitely help you in memorising those words




1. Blasphemy - Irreverence toward something considered sacred or inviolable.
( ईश - निंदा )
  
 Synonym - impiety,sacrilege

 Sentence -That imam said that drawing the prophet Muhammad is a form of blasphemy.





2. Blighted -spoiled,damaged ( अभिशप्त )
     
    Synonym -hapless, inauspicious
     
    Sentence -This vine never blights.




3. Blithe -happy,cheerful,carefree  (ज़िंदादिल )
    
    Synonym -animated,gay,jovial
    
    Sentence -She had a blithe disregard of cultures outside the United States




4. Bludgeon - a short club with a heavy loaded end ( गदा )
    
    Synonym - cudgel,mallet
  
    Sentence -We smashed the radio with a steel bludgeon




5. Bohemian -An unconventional or nonconformist artist or writer. ( बोहेनिया का )

   Synonym - radical, nonconformist

   Sentence  - His Bohemian subjects had long since dubbed him " King All Right " because    he said yes to everything.
